Science Inspired<\/h3>\n

\nThe Science Inspired project aims to promote science centers as excellent places for young people to get to know science, where teachers in collaboration with facilitators can inspire them and pass on their knowledge.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the project, 4 science centers join forces: Experyment Science Center from Poland, Ag\u00f3ra Science Centre from Hungary, VIDA! Science Centre from Czech Republic and NOESIS from Greece.<\/p>\n

Research suggests that students find science-related courses interesting, despite being harder and more challenging. Teenagers do not have the tools that would allow them to acquire relevant knowledge more easily. The Science Inspired project will create new tools to help teachers and facilitators encourage young people to take on new challenges.<\/p>\n

Objectives of the programme<\/strong>
\n– Exchange of experience between teachers and facilitators from science centres in Europe.
\n– Encourage teachers to share their knowledge in their work environments.
\n– Cooperation between science centres in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Greece.
\n– Encouraging young people to create their own scientific content.<\/p>\n

During the program teachers and facilitators in science centers:<\/strong>
\n– They will participate in 4 visits to the science centers participating in the project.
\n– They will create their own scientific video, where, using interactive exhibits, they will explain the most interesting phenomena.
\n– They will get acquainted with modern teaching methods, eg. gamification, storytelling, ICT.
\n– They will make clear the motivations and needs of young people and try to meet these needs using design thinking.
\n– Create innovative educational methods using new technologies and activities outside school.<\/p>\n

Teenagers:<\/strong>
\n– They will test the tools created by facilitators and teachers.
\n– They will participate in workshops, during which they will learn how to create inspiring science videos.
\n– They will participate in a competition for the creation of a short scientific video.
\n– They will exchange views on the videos with teenagers from Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece and Poland.<\/p>\n

The project is funded by the European Union under Erasmus+.<\/p>\n

Programme duration: 1.12.2018-30.1.2021<\/p>\n
