“Nikola Tesla – The man who invented the future”
\nPeriodic exhibition at NOISIS<\/p>\n

Due to the large attendance of the public, the exhibition extends its operation until May 31, 2018<\/p>\n

If inventions such as electricity, wireless technology, radar, X-rays and radio typically shaped the 20th century, then the “inventor of the 20th century” is Nikola Tesla.<\/p>\n

She is a complex personality remarkable both for her scientific and technological work, and for the human values \u200b\u200bshe advocated. He invented the alternating current and fought for its spread without aiming for financial gain. He consented to the use of his patented ideas by others because he believed they were doing a good job. It thwarted the development of applications that could have been catastrophic due to misuse. He was indifferent to praise and fame and died poor and alone, leaving a legacy of technologies used today more than ever.<\/p>\n

The work and personality of this unique man is presented by the exhibition organized by NOISIS in collaboration with the “Nikola Tesla” Museum in Belgrade, emphasizing the elements of his vision and genius.<\/p>\n

The exhibition includes a combination of exhibits, from scale models such as his Colorado Springs lab, the Niagara Falls hydroelectric plant, the vertical take-off plane, and functional models of his inventions, such as the induction motor and the Tesla coil, to visual and audio elements in information panels and in video room.<\/p>\n
