With the support of the Region of Central Macedonia<\/p>\n

NOESIS in collaboration with the Educational Organization Eduact and with the support of the Region of Central Macedonia, hosts at the premises of the “Newton room”.<\/p>\n

It is a “portable room” of science, where this one is dedicated to the theme “Up in the air with numbers – an Airy Adventure”. It focuses on mathematics and physics, concepts that are necessary to enable participants to plan their flight by taking measurements of speed, distances and time and experience the beauty of flight through exercise in the simulator.<\/p>\n

It is addressed to students from the fifth grade to the third grade of gymnasium. The training material is adapted to the curriculum, focusing on practical knowledge and challenges of the real world and the labor market.<\/p>\n

The “Newton Rooms” are the most innovative educational experience in Europe and focus on the most up-to-date topics, involving students of all ages. The idea has been designed by the Non-Profit Educational Organization FIRST Scandinavia and has been operating in Europe since 2007.<\/p>\n

The initiative is hosted from September 20 and until October 20, 2022 at the premises of NOESIS, it is open daily (except Mondays) for free visits of school groups from the fifth grade to the third grade of Gymnasium, upon reservation.<\/p>\n
