NOESIS, as part of the EXPLORA summer program for primary and secondary school students, is collaborating this year with the Institute of Chemical Processes and Energy Resources (CPERI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).<\/p>\n

CPERI contributes to the implementation of the actions by strengthening the thematic directions of EXPLORA and seeking to bring high school students closer to science and become familiar with new technologies.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The children’s visits to CPERI take place on selected days between July and August and the program includes presentations by CPERI’s scientific staff on subjects related to energy, environment and human health with the application of biomedicine.<\/p>\n

At the same time, guided tours are conducted in the laboratory and pilot units of the institute (hydrotreatment and biomass pyrolysis units, electrochemistry laboratory, composite materials development units, water treatment plants, pollutant measurement laboratory) in order to enhance stimuli and gain new experiences in cutting-edge technological issues and scientific fields.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
