Deputy Minister Vassilis Economou at NOESIS – Event for the illumination of the Christmas tree

The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for Transport, Vassilis Economou, recently visited the NOESIS Science Dissemination Center and Technology Museum.

Mr. Economou was welcomed by the President of NOESIS, Dr. Styliani Bezergianni, who briefed him in detail on the multidimensional work of the Center, as well as on the initiatives undertaken by its Board of Directors since January 1, 2023. He also referred to the challenges and opportunities faced by NOESIS, while describing its development prospects and its contribution to society, the city and the wider region of Northern Greece. At the same time, Dr. Styliani Bezergianni guided the Deputy Minister to the premises of NOESIS, presenting the educational programs and the recreational activities it implements, while she also spoke about the exhibitions it hosts, emphasizing the actions aimed at the extroversion of the Agency.

Mr. Economou showed particular interest in the Automobile Exhibition of the Museum of Technology, where he was guided in the presence of the General Director of NOESIS, Evangelos Afthonidis.

The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Vassilis Economou, also attended the lighting of the Christmas tree of the Science Dissemination Center and Technology Museum – NOESIS, starting the countdown himself.

The lighting event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Culture of Thermi, Giorgos Angelou and the Head of the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Thermi, Christos Vagionas. The musical part of the event was accompanied by the choir Irene Marantidou, Elli Michaelidou on the piano and the youth choir of the Municipal Conservatory of Thermi.
