NOESIS at the online Athens Science Festival 2021
In 2021 the Athens Science Festival returns with the same goals and the same dynamics, but necessarily in a different form.
From the 27th to the 29th of March 2021, the Festival will highlight online and in a live pan-Hellenic broadcast – from the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens – the most modern developments in the fields of Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as the relationship between Art and Science.
ASF21 will include a series of lively exciting speeches, participatory experiential workshops, pilot demonstrations and other innovative digital actions, giving the public the opportunity not only to watch but also to intervene online.
Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Health, Robotics, STEM Training, Environment, Sustainable Development, Art. At the same time, a wide range of topics selected from other positive and humanities will be presented in an understandable, attractive and interactive way by the most important and most renowned representatives of the academic, research and educational field.

NOESIS participates in this year’s ASF, in the Live streaming-SYMPOSIUM section (admission to this platform is free) with the following actions:
– Saturday 27/3, at 12.00: Journey to knowledge
Independent cartoon stories, lasting from 3 to 5 minutes. Two children, Zoe and Odysseus, discover the world of science and technology around them.
– Sunday 28/3, at 12.40: The heroes of science live forever
Video tour of the permanent exhibitions of NOESIS with references to the “Heroes of Science”, which is the central theme of this year’s festival. The 10-minute video makes references to important “immortal” personalities, in connection with exhibits that have been hosted in permanent or periodic exhibitions of NOESIS.

Science Fiction Movies LIVE QUIZ
NOISIS collaborates with ASF and invites you to a lively, participatory experience for young and old friends of science and cinema. Entertainment and science knowledge on the occasion of Star Wars, Gravity, Interstellar and other science fiction movies.
