International Museum Day at NOESIS 18.5.2024
NOESIS, as every year, participates again this year in the celebration of International Museum Day*.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Museums for education and research” and in this context, NOESIS on Saturday 18 May, 12.00-14.00, organizes a workshop on “Education in the museum: who and how”, with the participation of representatives of the city’s museums.

* The International Council of Museums (ICOM), in its effort to highlight the role of museums in modern society, established May 18 as International Museum Day in 1977. The message of this anniversary is for museums to become vehicles of cultural exchange “with a view to enhancing education, promoting mutual understanding, peace and cooperation among peoples”.
