TASTE project – meeting in Modena, Italy

In the framework of the Erasmus plus European project TASTE, during the five-day period 1-5 May 2022, the first mobility / exchange of students and teachers in the framework of the Teaching – Learning activities action and the first face-to-face transnational project meeting took place in Modena, Italy.

NOESIS was represented by Eleana Balla, project manager for the organization.

As part of the first student mobility, a total of 42 secondary school students and their teachers from the four partner schools and executives from the 3 planetariums participating in the project met in Modena.

The main purpose of the students’ mobility was to carry out the first applications in order to evaluate the work carried out so far by the partners on the deliverables of the project, which concern teaching units, planetarium presentation, full dome videos and layout kits.

During the five-day period, the pilot applications of seven educational activities took place, a first initial version of the real-time planetarium presentation took place and two of the 5 full dome videos were presented, as well as the original versions of 3 layouts of the overall kit.

The venues that hosted students and teachers where the activities took place were the facilities of the Tassoni High School and the Francesco Martino Planetarium.

The 42 students, divided into groups of 8 students and having as facilitator a teacher/executive, took part in all the activities, which they then evaluated with a short feedback form.

In addition to the core of the pilot implementation and evaluation of all deliverables, the student exchange program included a guided tour of Tassoni High School, the Planetarium, selected attractions in the city of Modena, as well as a day trip to a neighboring city of Verona.
