International live internet action

NOESIS participates in the international live internet action VIRUScience -JOIN that will take place on Tuesday 25/5/2021, at 21.00 (Greek time).

It is an initiative of the VIDA science center in the Czech Republic, which aims to bring together similar organizations from around the world through a common, live program that will be aimed at an adult audience and will be conducted in English.

Based on the action plan each organization will participate with a brief presentation of an experiment. The action will be broadcast through live streaming of the organizers and simultaneous broadcast from Youtube and Facebook of all participating organizations.

NOESIS participates with an impressive experiment in the field of Electromagnetism that concerns Lenz’s law. Title and description of the experiment:

Description
In this short demonstration Maria and Petros observe objects that fall freely in the air and inside / through plastic and metal pipes. They observe their motion, they notice the differences, and they explain how the gravity works and how the electromagnetic forces acting on objects in certain conditions can produce unexpected phenomena.
