A journey into the microcosm of insects – for Toddlers up to sixth grade

Every year, with the arrival of spring, we observe the arrival of insects on our balconies, especially when there are flower pots in them. Insects do not only stay outdoors but also get inside our homes. Most of them are harmless and when we meet them in nature, they give us beautiful images during our walk. There are, however, some insects that can cause problems to our health.

In this workshop we will travel to the world of insects with all our senses. We will try to learn the basics about the biology of insects and listen to the sounds they make, so that on our next walk in the garden or forest we will be able to recognize them. We will also get to know the insects that exist in the urban environment and we will refer to the ways in which we can protect ourselves from any attacks.

And where do you know? Maybe that’s how kids teach grown-ups that insects exist in nature to make it more beautiful!
